Oppo 93 Region Free Mod

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have an Oppo BDP-93 that I purchased soon after they were released. I installed a region free mod that I purchased on ebay in Australia. My problem is that I can't remember how to change the region. I recall the following about the mod:

It is a pro version of the mod to allow Oppo firmware upgrades
To change the region required powering down the player then holding the blue key or similar on the remote.
While holding the key the player would sound a beep to indicate the region change.

It’s taken me a while but I worked out the following.

Remove any disk from the tray and switch off. Start the player by pressing either 1, 2 or 3. These correspond with regions A, B or C.

Since the latest FW the player won’t complete the switch to another region until doing the following. Open the settings then press 0 - 7 - 7 - 0, when a window opens with the player info, press ok and the region will change. Press return to exit the window then exit the settings.

The player will now play discs from the selected region.

I’m sharing this just in case it can help others.
