A couple of months ago I built my own Vortexbox. I am very new to this distribution. I have been following the forum. I haven't seen any conversations about a newer version or new features. It is now based on a version of Fedora that is no longer supported. Today it seems as if the website is gone.
Anyone know whats up with Vortexbox?

Works for me: vortexbox.orgI think Andrew Gillis has much work and well deserved success with the Sonore Orbiter based products now. Hence, he can't spend much time on Vortexbox any more.

The user forum was broken yesterday. (http://www.vortexbox.org)
I tried to check it out and none of the pages would load.
Looks like it's working again today.

2.4 is the latest version of Vortexbox. It's based on Fedora 23, yes. A new version is under development.

I see that it is back today. I hope a new version is coming out. I really like this easy, no fuss audio server. I run MinimServer and it is excellent.

Thanks to Hemster, I use it and has been flawless for me. It does as designed- Headlessly rips CD's to FLAC as fast as anything & serves up files- perfect. Mine is in the Media/AV closet, what I like is that I can pipe music outside & control from android. It has never crashed, works every time.
