Realistically, I can't find much reason to recommend these since the BasX Sat are 4ohm speakers. Usually people on a budget won't have amplification that is stable down to 4ohms. The LCR has the right idea. I have a similar issue with the Airmotiv C1 but that can be argued is no longer strictly a "budget" speaker.
Edit: I would love to hear any insight as to why these are 4ohms.

I would have to think that they would like you to purchase one or more of the BasX amps to go with the speakers, I myself prefer external amplification over a receiver but I do understand that not all can afford that route either, but most who are looking at companies like Emotiva and such IMO are looking for a separates system anyhow, just my thoughts
