Okay, so I finally got around to updating my XMC-1 with the 4.0 code. I backed up as normal, then updated. I've done this as many times as there have been updates - never had a problem. But this time, not so much.
I got an error after the update - "FP Error" Invalid App", which flashed briefly before shut down. It did not reboot to Standby as usual. So I powered it on... All it does is show the error code on the front panel. It doesn't power on, it's just sitting there with the error on the main display.
Of course, this happens at 6:00pm Central on a Friday... And no Tech Support until Monday... Ugh!
Anyone else have this issue and have a fix? I really don't want to wait until next week to (hopefully) get my rig running again. Any help would be much appreciated!

rogerlons , So ery sorry this has happened to you! I wish I had a suggestion beyond unplugging the unit and wait ten minutes. Plug it back in and (hopefully) power up! Note to self,,,,,,,,NEVER EVER update anything unless tech support is available.
