I've only hooked them up last night, after 10:00 pm, so I keep the volume at a reasonable level for my sleeping neighbors. I'm blown away at the additional sound I'm getting and much lower volume levels! Now I get it. I still have a lot of tweeting and adjusting to to but I'm pleased to notice a difference just plugging in the additional amp!!
Open to any suggestions or recommendations!

As far as tweaking. Not sure how much you would need to do. Is the room treatment where you want it for the desired sound quality you are after. Also and most importantly congratulations of your New Mono Blocks. They are a game changer for many who listen, and love them. I was a convert many years ago, and strongly recommend Mono Blocks whenever possible because of all the wonderful inherit qualities they have. Such as Power Supply, and Channel Isolation, and no possibility of Cross Talk at the Amplifiers. So yes, the Holy Grail of why our music is special, stems from the use of Mono Blocks. I like to say, You have arrived together separately.

You're in very good company with the XPA-1 gen 2. I've heard the XPA-1L and was very impressed. All things being equal monoblocks are superior because of the power supply and all circuitry dedicated to one channel. However, not all monoblocks are automatically superior to all stereo amps.
Congrats on your new found joy!

Glad you are enjoying them. Now I'm a little confused do you have two xpa-2 gen 2's in bridged mode or do you have two XPA-1 gen 2 monoblocks?
Either way, great! These are some seriously amazing amps and don't let anybody tell you otherwise! If you have the XPA-1 gen 2, I would suggest using the class A option and the fully balanced path (XLR) - if you ever get a chance. That's what it's there for....twice the components just to give you balanced drive. However with class A, just keep in mind it does run super hot. So I flip them back to class AB when I'm not around where they go back to a cooler mode. Technically you don't HAVE to do this, but it really does get quite hot!

I have 2) XPA-2 Gen 2 bridged. It’s been fun!
