Very reasonable pricing, too. $5 for stereo and $7.50 for multichannel discs. Shipping not included.

Well you don't need to have an early PS3 with old firmware anymore. I have such a PS3 but unfortunately it got again the Red Light of Death and I didn't want to pay a lot of money anymore to reflow the PS3.. So I went looking for an alternative... And there is. With the following Blu-ray players you can also make a digital (ISO) copy on your PC: Oppo 103/105, Cambridge Audio 752bd/cxu, Pioneer bdp-lx58/88, BDP-160/170 and 180 Here is the article: linkOf course I tried it and it works great. Imho even easier than the PS3 method. I took an old USB data stick and copied the required files onto. Every time I want to make a copy of a SACD I plug-in the USB stick into my OPPO 103 and insert the SACD. On my desktop PC, somewhere else in my house, I start the program SACD ripper with the IP address of my OPPO 103 and an ISO copy is being made on my PC. Really easy.

Great info, guys. Too bad I only have an Oppo 93 (but I don't have that many SACDs).

I just started using this method as well. Works perfectly. I couple this method with ISO2DSD.

For $7.50 per disc - and they enter the metadata for you - it sounds like a real bargain to me. Great info, guys. Too bad I only have an Oppo 93 (but I don't have that many SACDs).

I was fortunate to have a friend who liberated my 20 or so SACDs via Playstation.
