Ok, does anyone know? If I run a full range line level into the input of a BasX sub, can the low pass filter extract just the bass information and amplify it without causing distortion?
Right now I'm using the "Enhanced Bass" feature on my XMC-1. I would like to free up my 15 incher for just effects. When I use it for "enhanced bass" and I put my finger on the driver, it's barely moving. So I figured that a small amount of bass reinforcement at my main speaker locations would do the trick.

Yup.... that's exactly what it's for. * If you're connecting the sub to something that has its own bass management (and its own low pass filter), then you want to set the filter on the sub all the way up (so it doesn't interfere with what the bass management is doing). * If you're sending a full range signal to the sub, then use the controls on the sub to adjust it to blend in perfectly with your other speakers. Awesome, Thanks!
Looks like there's a review coming about a couple of BasX subs.
