Hi guys!
I have a couple of B&O beolab 8000 (active speakers) which are currently connected to a Sonos for music and tv. The Sonos has its limitations, so I am looking to exchange it with an MC-700.
I will be feeding digital into the MC-700 and use the analogue outputs to connect to B&O speakers. In order for this to happen, there must be a DAC in the MC-700 but I haven't been able to find any specs on this DAC. Could you reveal which DAC is inside the product?
If not, can you provide some specs for the DAC?
Or correct me if I have misunderstood something completely regarding this product :-)

Interesting application for the MC-700. Yes it does have a DAC with both coax and optical inputs. I did not see much online regarding which chip they use, you may want to call Emotiva directly if your interested in the DAC specifics. I would also verify the analog output voltage of the MC700 is within range for your Active speakers amps. I would not expect an issue, but worthwhile to check.
