What happens when you swap left with right, and right with left, and before running Dirac, see if you hear a difference in level with just test tones to see if the problem moves with the cabling. In other words, does the problem of being subdued now move to the right channel.

the problem stays with that speaker... i tried swapping it to the right and left vice versa and it stays. does not follow. im pretty sure I will need to take the XO out and see whats wrong.

Amp channel, wires, or speaker.

Did you reach out to Matt, Tux or Erich on the DIYSG or AVS forums, not sure if they frequent the lounge. Any pictures of the solder joints of your XOs?

Sounds like a wrong connection in the crossover to me. though it could be many things, but might just be the tweeter is not connected. Show us some picks of the XO and we might be able to see the issue.

Did you use boards from mtg? Did you build the xover yourself? If so, bad solder joint somewhere? After rechecking your xover fire tux off a message, dude is super cool about troubleshooting with people.
