Does anyone own any of these speakers or had any experiences with these speakers, positive or negative? Specifically the Signature series.
Thanks

I own a pair of XL7F speakers. For a $500 tower speaker I believe one would have to buy used to do better for the money. Imagining is fair. I'd give them a C- or D grade for openess. Bass needs equalization. They look good and can play loud. Better for movies than music. I bought them as a "stop gap" speaker.
The Signature Series sell for the same as the Airmotiv Towers. To me, between the two, go with the Airmotivs based on reviews alone. At least that's what I would do at that price point.
As for me I'm saving for Dali Zensor 7 or SVS Prime Towers. I'm not sure I'd like the folded ribbon tweeter in the Airmotiv Towers. I didn't like the one I heard in a pair of Golden Ear towers. It sounded piercing to my 53 year old ears at the time. I was using the Jazz at the Pawnshop CD as a test disk.
Keep in mind folks, there's no accounting for taste. Picking speakers is like picking ties!
If the powers that be read this, is there a chance at BasX Towers? I prefer a soft dome tweeter.

Come on Chad, don't sugcoat it! Just say what you mean! I've heard them and seen the build quality and IMO I wouldn't go down that path considering the other options out there, like the Airmotiv line, my Chane A5rx-c towers and SVS does have some nice towers at a decent price, there's another brand as well but it's slipping my mind on what it is. No offense of course to anyone who owns them but they sell at the local Best Buy and IMO(of course) are very cheaply made.

I believe you'll find the AMT we use in the Airmotiv speaker line much smoother than other AMT's you are referring to. We go for a natural extended high end without unnecessary "boosting" of the treble that adds short term excitement to the sound, but long term fatigue. The T1 towers are unmatched at their price point, and frankly you need to spend at least twice as much to approach their performance, all other things being equal. Just MHO! Try them, you'll like them!

Your feedback has confirmed my thoughts. I'm thinking either T1s or Elacs. Lots of choices and the problem is, like most, I can't listen to them prior...

No offence taken. I couldn't do monitors on stands. I have cats. The thought of a cat jumping off a monitor on a stand sending both crashing to the floor prevented my going that route. Although, it's the way to go otherwise! These are just a quick cheap temporary solution.

That is the hardest thing with the online retailers of course, I was waiting for the T1 but had my Stealth 6 speakers sold and heard of the Chanes so I took the leap of faith and am not disappointed one bit, $399 a tower made it that much better . These look quite nice as well www.svsound.com/products/prime-towerChad

And I have listened to a few models of them. On the other hand, I have listened to several Emotiva speakers...some with folded ribbon, some not. Emotiva has made several great speakers. I really want to hear the T2's. I doubt I will replace my Maggies, but my old B&W's...possibly! Mark

Yeah should be the A5.4 from what I have seen the other speaker models have become, suppose to be some L7 larger towers in the works as well.

I used EmoQ with them and the end result is a very balanced sound. I'm very happy with the T1 towers!

cgolf asked about Fluance, let's get back to that, anyone knows about their bipolar surrounds? I'm a little late to this party, but will throw in my 2 cents. I have the XLBP bi-pole surrounds (and owned their little brother version prior), and I have found them to do the job. I mean, what can you really say about a bi-pole surround? I got them at a decent price, been running them for a couple years now. No problems. Will probably continue to run them until I decide to move to a full atmos system and/or swap out all my speakers. Can't speak to the larger offerings. I love the look of their Signature series line, and have been tempted a few times to try them, but have read differing opinions on them. Seems like - now that they have corrected the cross-over issue in the first version of them - they perform well...as a budget speaker. But, more recent reviews seem to agree that their performance probably is in line with the price category, meaning if you are coming from, or expecting, higher end performance, you could be disappointed with these.

After boocoos of researching, thinking, pondering, debating, wondering, etc. etc., I went with the ELAC Debut F6 towers. So far, I'm happy with them. Crutchfield offers a 60 day return so I still have over a month to enjoy and decide. So far, I'm enjoying them very much.
