airmotiv E1 as front channel speakers

Would the Airmotiv E1 work as on wall front speakers.

I am making some changes to my theater and want on wall mounted front channel speakers nest to my screen. There is not a lot or room to the side of the screen but these would just fit.

Would these work as front channel speakers?

Also how is the timber/voice match of these to the older legacy Emotiva speakers. I have a few of the original emotiva in wall speakers in the system

Since none of the experts have offered an opinion, I'll offer mine

Any speaker can work as front channel. They all produce sound. Whether you like the sound or not, that is the real question. I suspect you care a little more about the looks or space constraints than sound though, so why not give them a try? They'll probably sound better than the legacy in wall speakers.
