Just finished upgrading my DIY theater and wanted to share the pics. I'm using all in walls for now as I have 3 small children and don't trust that floor standing speakers would survive their wrath. You can see the L/C/R speaker upgrade in the last few pics. The gear: L/C/R: Definitive Technology UIW RLS II Surrounds: Monoprice in walls Surround amp and preamp for L/C/R: Onkyo with Audyssey L/C/R amplifier: Emotiva XPA-3 Gen 3 Projector: Epson Pro 1080p Sub: Paradigm 12" Screen: Elite Screens 120" audio transparent Room treatments: GIK Acoustics Back row riser: DIY with remote controlled color changing LED Seats: Fusion Lagoon with electric motors Tactile transducers (aka butt shakers): one per seat (8 total). Two 250w subwoofer plate amps drive 4 seats each. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Very nice clean professional look. I especially like the built in equipment rack to the side.

Very nice clean professional look. I especially like the built in equipment rack to the side. Thank you! The rack is open to a storage area/room behind it which is awesome for cable management and tinkering. Here you can see the back side of the A/V rack. Cat6 network. Whole house audio. Synology NAS with all my video and audio files (including HD audio and FLAC files for the entire house including my other 2.1 system) This is an older pic before the addition of the Emotiva.

Looks great and thanks for sharing! How are you liking those Fusion chairs? Do they separate while getting in / out or wiggling around while watching a movie? I noticed the arm inserts for the "love" seats. I'm debating between 7 HT seats or a couch with 4 HT seats on a riser.

I noticed the arm inserts for the "love" seats. I'm debating between 7 HT seats or a couch with 4 HT seats on a riser. I love the chairs. I bought the first 4 about 3 years ago. I liked them so much that I bought the second row. No, they don't separate. If they do it's not noticeable and very minor... And that's with a bunch of little kids climbing all over them. Yes the arm inserts come out so you can use the middle section like a loveseat. I love that feature. Others may not depending on your situation. If you buy them know that they squeak when you open and close them (the leather rubbing on itself as they move). I don't mind it but I have read a few complaints on AVS that they are "noisy". I'd also recommend slathering them with Lexol leather conditioner when you get them and then about 1-2 times per year depending on use.

Thanks for the info! I read that as well on AVS and thought that the Lexol conditioner removed the "squeaks"? You choose the leather / vinyl option I assume?

I think if you used something like armor all (much more oily and slippery) on just the areas that rubbed it would remove the squeaks. Since that doesn't bother me I just let it be.
