Hey group, I would like to get a pair of Tekton full range towers. The model line up seem very close in performance. My main goal is to eliminate the subwoofer from my 2ch setup. I still want low end, as much as I can get. The Pendragons seem like they fit the bill. I would like some owners to comment. Room size is roughly 12x12 with diy acoustic treatments. I'll be powering them with. Gen 1 MiniX. Thanks guys.

The P'Dragons will Kick A** in a 12x12 room down to about 28 Hz. You may get a bit of hint below that, but by 25, there just isn't much there. In fact, the Dragons do have a slight bump (or maybe not so slight - I've measured anywhere from +3 to +5, depending on speaker placement) in their response between 30 to 35 Hz. that makes them sound like they go way deeper than they actually do.
In my room, (about 28 x 15 x 9), there's actually TOO much 30 to 35 Hz. bass, and I have to equalize it down a bit. YMMV
Also keep in mind that the Pendragons are BIG (really big) speakers & will visually dominate a 12x12 room. Not a problem? Go for them!
Boom
PS: With the Pendragons' sensitivity, your 50 WPC Emotiva amp will drive them not just well but really, really well.
PPS: I've tried using my jRiver parametric equalizer to get the Pendragons to go a few Hz. lower, but without much success. I may try stuffing some polyester pillow filling into the ports, in hopes of taming the 32 Hz peak & extending the bass, but I'm not really hopeful that it'll work...

Exactly the review I wanted. Size isn't a huge concern. I actually would prefer something the "looks fast standing still". I was previously looking at the Klipsch RF7 and Polk lsiM705. I was torn between the Impact, maybe Double Impact (although alittle outside of my budget) and Dragons. Main goal is obviously sound quality but low end is really important too.

Running two 18's in my system I'm not sure if there is a speaker that could fit the bill for me without the use of subs, the effortless low end is astounding

This description sounds like my Enzo's aside from the fact they roll off at about 35hz, IMO the Enzo's may even be too big for your room.
