Hi, This problem just popped up. Have umc-200 connected to a smart tv Samsung KS8000 via hdmi and using arc and hdr+. Have lost normal sound. ARC works fine. It seems that my umc-200 is not passing normal cable, Frontier audio. What this amounts to is that I can watch and listen to Netflix and other stuff with ARC sound. Normal tv just has a picture and no sound. Any suggestions. I really do not want to do umc reset or firmware load. Thanx for any help.

So, you're getting the audio from the TV apps via ARC, right?
How is the cable box connected? Are you routing it through the UMC200, or is it connected to the TV and you want to get audio from that via the ARC?

Thanx for the reply. Ok, it was my fault. On the frontier remote there are 2 buttons. One is for the STB and the other is for the TV. These buttons determine which device to control one function is audio volume. Apparently "someone" had pressed the STB button and run the volume down. SOoooooo......nothing into the umc200 (hdmi from STB into UMC then hdmi to tv) I really don't have a problem, until I create another one.
