I may have missed this somewhere along the way but has Emotiva announced an outdoor speaker in one of the new lines? I love my Emo outdoor speakers and I have friends holding out for new models once they heard mine.
Any thoughts?

Never say never, but nothing has been announced to date.
We are looking at what's possible, but we want to avoid a "me too" product in this area. Dan has given me some neat ideas and we're looking at what processes and vendors could be used.

Hey Rory, I say stick with what you had, I had some Van Halen cranked on my UOM's and my neighbor was blown away with how good they sounded and the amount of volume they produced I absolutely love mine and it also doesn't hurt having 2 channels of my Sherbourn PA 7-350 powering them muhahahaha. Oh and I also had a buddy over on the weekend that likes dubstep so I played some dubstep through Tidal and cranked them up and my buddy had a grin ear to ear, my neighbors must love me lol. Chad

I have a friend that got the Emotiva UOM 6.2's with a Mini X to drive them. They are 4 ohm speakers and the 50 x 2 watt Mini X make them rock.
I was thinking point source speakers may be good for outdoor speakers. I wonder if you can make a point source speaker with a Emotiva air motion tweeter. There is no real thing as a point source speaker but there have been many good designs of late like the LS50. I could be way off course with this thought for outdoor speakers. Multiple tweeters like Pendragon is doing may be better for outdoors. How about an outdoor subwoofer ?
