Analog Stereo Mode - ADC?

Does anyone know if I connect a DAC to the analog in and set MODE to STEREO if there's a analog to digital conversion back out to digital to analog conversion for subwoofer integration. 

DIRECT, I would assume passes the analog signal straight to the amp but I would like to integrate my sub.

The reason I ask the question is I just bought an Oppa Sonica DAC and would rather be using that DAC for my audio sources vs the DAC in the MC-700 for 2 channel listening.

Any subwoofer bass management will have an ADC to DAC to ADC conversion.
