Im just sitting back trying to figure out how I should set this all up. I currently have the XMC-1 (Full Dirac) with a Outlaw 5000 5 channel amp in my system. XPA5 Gen 2 on the way. You all obviously have some knowledge. You have any thoughts as to what you would do with this equipment? My speakers are B&W CDM 9NT L&R fronts, heavily modified with better xrossovers. LCR 600 modded crossovers. IE good caps and coils. Surrounds are DM 603 s3 with DM 600s3 as rears. Its all crammed into my livingroom. I'm gonna move to the basement with much more room and much cooler in the summer. Mancave.
Now if FEDX dosnt destroy XPA5 Gen2 in transit ill be a happy camper. Oh ya also two Outlaw Ultra 12x subs.
Again thanks in advance.

Go balanced from the better amp, im guessing the Emotiva, for your two main speakers L/R and use the Outlaw for your surrounds Do a sub crawl and best place your subs.
If your moving it all shortly I wouldn't sweat it much, but when you do run Dirac and party on!
Condrats on your gear man, should be out of this world!

Option 1: Sell the Outlaw. Give half the money to your significant other. Put the other half in retirement savings. Enjoy the XPA-5 Option 2: Keep the Outlaw - Use the XPA-5 for your existing speakers - With the Outlaw, wire some ceiling speakers for Dolby Atmos, wire some side speakers for more immersive surround, wire in a butt-thumper. All channels used - Problem solved!

Use the Emo for the front channels.
Use the Outlaw for the center And rear 4 side/rear channels
If you have concrete side walls get some sound absorption pannels
