I think Tidal has an advantage as far as their library is concerned because it's much larger. I have Tidal and I think it sounds great, but for those who were wondering this is one authors opinion..

Using both Tidal has a convenience factor & offers a much larger library.And cost less
Of course not all offerings are available in HiRes Flac. through HD Tracks or anyone
HD Tracks sounds better

I'm a definite tidal fan. Currently steaming from oppo app and from Mac to oppo's dac via USB.
love the extensive and growing catalogue and enjoy the cd and master quality source.
