A "flat panel leaf tweeter" is s planer magnetic, it is not an AMT driver. Different species.  Isn't a "leaf" tweeter, the same as a Ribbon tweeter? Planar magnetic tweeters are much different as the film surface has a conductor etched, or applied to the non-conductive surface. The leaf or ribbon tweeter passes current directly to the conductive membrane. In reality it could be I suppose, since "leaf tweeter" is not really a type at all, sort of like "printer" does not define the type. JCV started using that term back in the day to refer to their hybrid planers. So it could be a ribbon as I've never seen the drivers referred to. But it's still not an AMT. |

I might be wrong, but when I looked at Chane reviews they were basically (summarizing here): "a great home theatre speaker, but a little bit hot in the treble".

I might be wrong, but when I looked at Chane reviews they were basically (summarizing here): "a great home theatre speaker, but a little bit hot in the treble". I myself don't find that, for $399US each they are amazing speakers, I have three of the A5rx-c across the front, I have thought of trying three T1's across the front but I'm not sold on that being any bit of an upgrade, each T1 up here in Canada is $500, even if I could sell my Chanes it may be a lateral move haha. Chad This would be a good comparison as they are about the same price T1 vs A5rx-c  |

Geebo, do you have them yet ? I called Vanguard Wednesday and stocks sold close of market Thursday. Funds go out Friday and should hit my account by Monday. I need to know if they work in stereo. |

So I got my delivery of one T2 and one C2 speaker today, lol. The other T2 shipped with them but isn't coming until Tuesday so I get to stare at my 2 full boxes all weekend, why me? Lol
