Is there a hidden file that can be hand edited to change the implemented delay for two subs? If so I can omit an extra box from my signal chain (distances need to be tweaked for proper sub/main alignment)

I thought all you needed to do for that was to set the phase.

I used the mindsp but since my subs were not really that far from my mains it didnt seem to make much of a difference. If i ever add rear subs i may incorporate it at that time. If your subs have adjustable phase delay not just a 90/0 switch then that can be used to compensate. Ansat started a thread on here and he explains all of it quite well , IRC he showed how to edit the local dirac file but im a bit fuzzy on that so i would suggest you search for threads by Ansat.

Since this thread is in the Dirac live area of the forum i would assume the OP wants to edit the XML ? to adjust distances for his subs. But then as they say never assume anything.

I believe the file Ansat was editing was for a house curve, I don't believe distances are available to edit as much of what dirac does occurs in the time domain, once again, could be wrong😎

Dirac distances/delays cannot be changed.
