Purchased a Fire TV Stick (2017 version) and experiencing black level/color fidelity issues.
When connected directly to one of the two Panasonic plasma panels I have, black levels look good but when the Fire Stick is connected to the UMC-200 or Pioneer Elite AVR, the Stick's home screen, UI and content are all washed out with a glaring lack of proper black levels.
I've gone through all the various video configuration options on the Fire Stick, including the advanced options accessed via remote button combinations, but the problem persists. The issue is not subtle but so obvious there's no way anyone would watch content. I've also, consulted the manuals for both TVs and tested different profiles within the TVs but nothing works. The issue cannot be reproduced using an ATV 4, Roku Premiere nor Sony BRD player. Amazon support hasn't offered any solutions as well.
Does anyone have any experience with this that may be able to help? I've found a few posts on other forums that didn't provide solutions.

I have it....2017 also. As soon as I can, I'll pull it from my flat screen and use an open HDMI on the XMC1 and report back ( couple of days)

Thanks.
I'm wondering if it's some unique incompatibility on the Panasonic end when adding and AVR or preamp in between.
