It's been a long time since I have been here. What happened to the Control Freek volume control that Emo sold? I am looking for one to buy and didn't see it any more. If it is indeed discontinued does anyone have other suggestions on a balanced volume control to use in between my XDA-1 and JBL Powered monitors?

It's been discontinued for unknown reasons. If you want a similarly-priced alternative there's the JBL NanoPatch+

Maybe post your need in the "Wanted to Buy" section of the Emporium, they come up for sale every so often. Most of us are puzzled with the disappearance of several successful or convenient Emotiva pieces.

I never bought a Control Freak when they were available via Emotiva but was very fortunate to buy a used on via a member of the Lounge.
