I recently thought I would give Dirac a bash....
seemed to be ok on Windows 10 Pro 64bit install and found my 2 XMC-1's OK and the MIC and speakers setting. While it said Windows 8.0 I gave it the benefit of the doubt and continued up to running test tones for level settings and stopped there as its late in the evening.
But not so fine on OS X 10.11.6 on a 2013 27" iMAC
After turning off the firewall altogether it at least found the XMC-1's and speaker setting, but refused to see the MIC even though I am using the exact same MIC and cable etc as I was for Windows...
I can see the MIC in sound prefs and see it getting level hits when talking or clapping etc so its working as far as OS X is concerned just not being seen by the Dirac software.
an ideas anyone that has this working on a MAC?

Dirac on a Mac worked perfectly up to and including Yosemite. There are known microphone issues with Dirac running on El Capitan... And known network connection issues with Dirac running on Sierra... Our programmers are working on it. I recently thought I would give Dirac a bash.... seemed to be ok on Windows 10 Pro 64bit install and found my 2 XMC-1's OK and the MIC and speakers setting. 2 years is a loooong time to be waiting for the programmers to working it assuming most people would be updating soon after the next version is out. Its not like beta versions are not available in advance either.
Likewise why is the windows version being identified as Windows 8.0 instead of Windows 10?
For a FLAGSHIP product the XMC-1 is not being kept up with the times for its supporting apps and that is something that is not ideal IMHO
The iOS app works only on my iPh 6s+ none of my other numerous devices like iPads or other iPhones...and won't work on my wife's 6s+ purchased at the same time.
clearly there is still much to be done with the support apps for XMC-1 and Dirac
There is also the issue that most macs of recent years will only run the lowest OS that they shipped with so any macs that were manufactured after Sept 2015 will only run 10.11.x a minimum.

There is hope... seems like they have found an issue with the 10.12.x installation and there is a fairly simple fix that they sorted out for me...Happy days.
Sadly it doesn't work for 10.11.x but I would guess most are up and running with 10.12.6 by now. Of course if you have older hardware that maxes out at 10.11.6 then you are SOL for now

Is there a public fix, with instructions available or do you have to call to get the fix? I have been using my old windows laptop for the meantime.

Thanks Keith...Its late here (1AM) but I will try and dig out the steps...IIRC its a folder of plugins that need to be hand copied to the contents of the installed app. This only works in 10.12.x - I tried it in 10.11.6 but the mic has some recognition issues IRRC there.
