I would like to move my subwoofer location in my 2ch room but I don't have the luxurie to run speakerwire to the subwoofer then back across the room to the speakers
Is there anyway to wire my sub using the high level inputs with minimal wire runs? Someone on anouther forum mentioned a run of telephone cord to the sub. They claimed the sub amp hardly draws any power so wire size isn't as important.

I think we have to know what kind of setup you are using. Do you use a preamp/processor. If so I believe most will have outputs for separate subwoofers and you can connect them with RCA cable and connect your other speakers from the amps in your separate amplifiers or from the internal amps in your receiver.

I think you might be able to use what i think is called zip cord, that they use for plugging in lamps. Should be able to buy it on the cheap from Home Depot or Lowe's.

Are there any concerns about signal quality? I was thinking about using some Cat5 or maybe some monoprice 4/14 or something?

With A100 miniX you don't have options to use high-level outputs. The existing high-level outputs have fixed signal (at least in mine A100 - I could never understand why Emotiva is doing this). You need preamp outputs (i.e. volume controlled outputs). With A100 you pretty much have only speaker output terminals. I don't think connecting them to the sub line-level inputs is a good idea.

Does your sub have rca inputs? If it does then run the A-100 speaker out puts to your speakers and the RCA outputs from the A-100 to the sub and use the sub controls, volume, crossover for the sub.
