I currently have a pioneer 921 7.1 receiver with front rtia5 towers. I have 30 days to decide on them. On sale I can replace with rtia9 for about $450 more. Is there any benefit to do this?. I am fine with the extra $$. My room is about 12 x 20 with 8 ft ceiling. I have the pioneer 921 which output is only about 80 watts I believe. I have Cambridge s50 centre. S70 surround. S30 in back. I do have a nrg nx-bas-500 subwoofer also. Any input is appreciated. I am questioning my pioneer receiver output . i am thinking may need an upgrade. Thanks

Or you cold buy mine and save even more. Original owner and always very well cared for in smoke free, pet free home. emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/50374/speakers-amps-seaton-sub-18017I will say this though, you'll see HUGE benefits from using a dedicated amp to drive many of Polks tower speakers. Most modern AVRs will drive them just fine but the extra power from a dedicated has to be heard to be believed. I have used Marantz and Denon top of the line models to power my A9s, not cheap, entry level units. Scott

Keep the a5's and spend the extra coin on room treatments and better subwoofer.
