Thx, the table was one of the few things I didn't build myself. I found it on Craigslist. I have to agree with you creimes the spandex screen is amazing. Having all the speakers hidden behind the screen is awesome and allows me to have a huge screen without audio compromise. I am amazed at what even a $800 projector can do with a good source and a black room. I also find having the speakers behind the screen gives the feel of proper placement of the sound within the picture, 2ch does take a bit of a hit sq wise but in my setup really not all that much but having a 2ch system separate from the ht would be better but I love having my ht like this Chad

Theater looks great! Would love to go with front projector but have too many lighting issues with my room. Gotta love the DIYSG offerings which I upgraded to about 2 months ago. Attachments:

I LOVE the superhero busts. What did you have for speakers before the htm’s and fusion center ? I had an all Klipsch setup with RF7ii mains, RC64 center and RS 52 surrounds. The Klipsch speakers still fufill all my wants in a speaker with one exception. As I got older my ears changed and the highs eventually became too much for me which prompted the DIYSG upgrade/sideways move. I am trying to talk my son into a DIYSG upgrade which I would build for him. Buy he has yet to cough up the money so I just keep reminding him on how much better his modest theater would be. 😇

I haven’t heard a klipsch speaker I liked but haven’t heard the higher end offerings either.

Great looking room and gotta love Erich for the way he secures his packages, best in the business. How far are your seats from the screen?

Well the Klipsch speakers I had were the only exposure to the brand so my experience is limited to those speakers only. My opinions, The Fusion center to me is the equal and in most things betters the RC64ii . Better intelligibility at medium (-20 to -5) to high listening levels. Low levels are a wash for the most part. HTM12's take the good things the Fusion center does and just expands them dramatically. Very wide soundstage and dialogue intelligibility is much improved at medium to high DB's compared to the RF7ii's. The surrounds are so different (quasi bipole to direct radiating) from each other that an actual comparison is unfair. I will say that I had been a huge fan of bipoles (not dipoles!) and their variants in the past which I now attribute to my previous HT room layouts and dimensions more so than the surround speakers themselves. The HTM6's appear to be a much better match for my current HT room than the Klipsch RS52's based on that criteria and I am extremely happy with the surround effects I am getting now. Waf factor is much higher with the Klipsch as compared to the Duratex finish on mine for the waf challenged among us.
