Is XPA Gen 3 (I will install 7 channel for media center usage) the right match for these speakers - I love stereo , and will use them to play movie too. Also would love to get XMC-1 to drive the media/movie usage, what kind of connection / cable should I use between XPA Gen 3 and XMC-1? Sorry for these newbie questions - love Emotiva, and getting a bit serious

Also would love to get XMC-1 to drive the media/movie usage, what kind of connection / cable should I use between XPA Gen 3 and XMC-1? You can use either the unbalanced connections (RCA's) or XLR's from the XMC-1 to the XPA.
Sorry for these newbie questions - love Emotiva, and getting a bit serious Asking questions is the only way to learn. This forum is here for that. Please don't ever hesitate to ask questions, everyone of us were once new to this hobby also. One thing to remember though is each piece of equipment has specs and all our ears hear a little different so the final judge to any setup is your ears. Mark

Single ended or balanced. The Eternal question. If you hear system noise or have longer runs? Balanced may serve. Lead runs are more critical with Single ended. Keeping stuff neat and seperated helps.

Do you use 7 of those speakers or only 2 for stereo? If you love stereo as you say, I would get 2x XPA-1 and a XPA-5 for the rest of the speakers.
