What's the preferred way to connect a sub to an Emotiva DC-1 (USB DAC connected to a PC) and Emotiva UMA-2 two channel Amp? I figure I have two options: 1- DC-1 RCA out into Sub L/R RCA in, then push RCA out on the Sub to the Ampifier 2- DC-1 RCA out into Amplifier, then RCA out on the Ampifier to the Sub L/R in I think the preference would be option 1 as I can then use the phase crossover before it gets to the Amp and ensure the speakers do not play any low frequencies. Is this correct? My Sub supports full tuning and has L/LFE and L/R inputs. Larger pic of SubThanks

Use the Y Adapter Audio Cable on the left output of the DC-1.

So split the Left RCA output leaving the DC-1?
How is this any different to using the RCA output on back of the Amp?

#1 would be how I would do it and plainly how the sub is configured to handle it. Nice sub, one of Edwards, should sound good Cheers Gary
