Hey all,
just got my mc-700 today and my xbox one s will be my source for my uhd blu-rays but when i try to switch the xbox to 4k i just get a black screen (and then the xbox reverts back to 1080 after a few seconds since i didnt confirm the changes were ok)
Connected to an Optoma UHD-60 projector.
I am using an HDMI cable that was working fine from the xbox directly to the projector and then the cable that came with the projector itself (i imagine if it came with the projector it should be good enough for 4k hdr)
I am using input 1 and output 1
any thoughts? (I did try 2 other HDMI cables as well but the other 2 were old hdmi cables)

I popped in a blu-ray and it switched to 4k @ 24hz but i still cant switch the console itself over to 4k (which i can do when directly wired) edit2: went out and bought another HDMI cable and the same results occured

interesting, out of curiosity i found a color setting on the xbox for 8bit, 10bit or 12 bit color. It was set to 8bit before, i set it to 10bit and then switched to 4k and it worked

Hopefully 10bit will cover sd and hd media like a uhd dedicated player.
