Lots of choices out there. Any recommendation from the Vinyl community ?
I will be using it to connect my Pro-Ject DC TT to my Primaluna Dialogue Premium integrated to feed a pair of Klipsch Forte III's.
Thanks.

Agree with Lounge Audio MM, though it is sensitive to noise if you use cheaper built rca cables. I have had several phono amps in my system over the years in your price range and for MM, the lounge audio topped them all.

Either XPS-1 on battery power or the Vision Q from Van Alstine Audio. Product of the year for 2016 and only $500. It'll beat the pants off lots of contenders, lots of settings for all sorts of cartridges too.
Good luck.

I compared it to my phono input in my Yamaha A-S2100., and to my ears the sound was much better with the XPS-,..I am shocked. I am using my project esprit TT That's what I would have done if I still had any interest in using the XMC-1 to play records. My former AV processor was one of the few high end AV units that had a raised phono input stage. (Sunfire Theater Grand II.) I bought that in Jan. 2001 and didn't play a single record with it for 13 years. Before pulling it to make room for the XMC, I whipped my AR XA TURNTABLE out of mothballs for old times sake. I spent about 4 hours spinning old favorites from my 2 box collection, then put it to bed forever. When first I removed the dust cover to get ready, my trusty discwasher had fused itself to the turntable base and I couldn't move it. Those were the days. Bill
