Just wanted to let everyone know that the BasX-A-800 is outstanding! I couldn't be happier! Plenty of clean and loud enough power! Using it with a pair of xpr-1s as my fronts, a-800 for all surround duties. Only oddball is my Marantz ma-500 for my center channel. Guess I'll have to sell the Marantz and get a Emotiva mono block for my center.

I just got the A800 too, but I'm using it for shakers. Are you using yours as 8 stereos or bridged?

Or you might consider an XPA Gen 3 with four stereo modules and a single channel module for a 9 channel amp  |

I sold my Marantz and getting a XPA-1 gen2 for my center channel. I also just purchased a Emotiva SA-250. Now just waiting on the RMC-1 as all my amplification is done. XPR-1's front mains, XPA-1 for center, SA-250 for rear surrounds, basx-a800 for back surrounds and 6 Atmos speakers.
