Just received and hooked up my new PT-100. Seems to work fine, but the remote did not come with a battery, installed or otherwise, and the manual does not mention the word 'battery'. It's a CR2032 and I don't happen to have one. I'll get one tomorrow, but it would have been nice to have been informed in advance that an unusual battery was not supplied. Did anyone else get a working remote with the unit?

I think I remember that I found the battery for my PT-100 inside the manual. But it was some time ago.

Mine included the battery. But I got no manual. Tell you what-- you send me the factory manual & I will send you the battery

Thanks, all. Good to know the battery was usually included. No battery was in my manual, which came bagged, but it may have fallen out when it was packed. No problem. Sorry, vneal, but given the complexity of the menu system I'm gonna need that manual to make sequence tables.

Mine came with a battery in the remote but it was dead out of the box. Had to run to Wally-World for a new CR2032 in order to get the remote to work. Problem solved.

I just got my setup tonight, I could not find a battery anywhere. After reading the posts in search of what battery type to use, i found one in the kitchen drawer! Thanks for the help on my first post. The A-300, PT100 sound awesome with my Maggie 1.7's .
