I came across pictures of an LMC-1 and started wondering about how much of the earlier gear people still own, use or did own at one point? What was the first Emotiva product? Was it an amplifier? LMC-1

I had a UPA-2 as my first. Actually had two of them and an UPA-1 at the same time. Sold them and got an XPA-5, just had its 5th birthday.

The XDA-1 that is sitting next to me in the den by the computer. I would say "that I am listening to" but my son replaced it with the Little Ego he won at Emofest.

My ERM-6.3 center channel and 4-ERD-1 surrounds. Almost forgot my ERM-1s.

UMC-200 was my first purchase in December 2014.
Since then I've added a UPA-500 amp, XDA-2 gen 2, a mighty XPA-2 gen 2, and a Little Ego for my office.
Next up, XMC-1 or XMC-2. My savings on the new processor with UFL will be more than I spent on the UMC-200. What a deal!

I had an LMC-1 as well. I had followed Emotiva back in the middle of the AV123 days because I wanted to try out separates and the pricing made that possible. When Emotiva moved to Franklin, TN I gave them a call and Cathy answered and took my order. If the stories from current employees are true, Dan and Cathy were working out of a two room office, now look where they are!!! The most impressive part of this story is that I can still call and talk to either Dan or Cathy if requested. Where else can you call and talk to the CEO/President or CFO of any company? Since the LMC-1, I've had an XPA-5, Ultra 12 sub, USP-1, ERC-1, ERC-2, UMC-1, UMC-200, and currently the XDA-1, DC-1, XMC-1, XPR-2, XPR-5, XMC-1, XPA-2, ERM-6.2's, Airmotiv 6's, Big Ego, CMX-2, ET-3 and a variety of exclusively used Emotiva interconnects.

I don't remember what came out first, but I had an LMC-1, a DMC-1, and an RPA-1.

XPA-3 that Emo had on sale around Super Bowl time 2009. I'd always wanted a powerful separate amp and this one seemed to fit the bill plus the price was very reasonable. $499, I think it was. I bought it and became a fan, that being the first of many purchases.

UPA-2 and ERC-1. I've sold the amp but I still own the ERC-1 as my backup. I love the slot loaders.

A XPA-3 that I purchased directly from Emotiva back in 2009. It's now powering my Ascend Acoustics Sierra Towers w/RAAL + Sierra Horizon Center w/RAAL and still running like first day From the Emotiva accessories department, I have speaker wire termination kits that used to come with heat shrink, cable pants, small flat screwdriver and banana plugs. The price was $10 but were worthy. Still have those in my system. I wish they could bring them back someday,

Still have the DMC-1 and MPS-1 and using them every day. I still prefer the larger silver pieces on each side of the front of this equipment. Also had the RPA-1 and RSP-1 and sometimes wish I had kept them also. I have tried several newer pre-pro's and none of them sounded as natural as the DMC-1 and I still prefer sending video to display and audio to the DMC-1.

My first Emotiva purchase was an Ultra Sub 12 in 2011. Followed a month later with ERT 8.3s. Since then I've gotten a multitude of emotiva stuff. I'm still using the 8.3s in my main system but soon to be replaced by T2s. I'm also still using the sub but in another room.

DMC-1/MPS-1 purchased in September 2007 and still in use pending the RMC-1 (or XMC-2 if I come to my senses). Like others, I believe that Cathy took my order for "the Big Dogs" directly. I've had a couple of the XLR outputs on the DMC-1 go out (and then magically come back) and the MPS-1 now insists that I hold the power button down for nearly 30 seconds when the main power is removed, but they're still going like champs.

My ERC-1 is my first piece of Emotiva gear I purchased it in 2010 and I still love it. Yesterday I listed my beloved XPA-100 mono blocks for sale on my local Craig's list here in Vegas. I didn't want to I had to. So I'll be terminating my enrollment in the Emotiva Secret Mono Block Society when they sell. This is bittersweet, because yesterday my brother in Chicago just received his first Emotiva gear. He purchased a BasX PT-100, and BasX A300 amp unfortunately the interconnects, and speaker wires, and blue tooth module were stolen during shipping. Not to worry Emotiva customer service assured him that they would ship him replacement items asap. I really appreciate this company you guys are the best.
