Hi there, i'm facing a strange behavior which prevent me to use the trigger function from the XMC1 and my BELKIN PF40. here's the thing, when i activate the trigger stuff and plug in on my BELKIN PF40 with the remote DC IN activated, it starts & stops correctly the power amps connected to the BELKIN, that is good and great but as soon as i do any thing (volume up or down, source change from the XMC1 front panel buttons or via the remote) this generates let's say some micro cuts and stop/start the power amps for a fraction of second, that's very annoying and more than that this will kill them. I've reseted the XMC1 parameters, upgraded to latest version v41, but no change.
Do you have any idea on this?

The volume should not have any affect at all but you do need to set the XMC-1 triggers for each source.
Are you using 3.5 mm mono cables?

hi, yes i'm using a 3.5 MONO cable, the one provided by the BELKIN PF40 itself. this is very strange and very annoying. I did try on the trigger 1 & 4, didn't try on the others. all parameters in the trigger settings are all active by default.

Did you try using a different 3.5 mm MONO cable?

I thought I was the only person to have a Belkin PF40. The most impressive power cable I have ever seen on any electronics component to this day. I was advised not to run any Pre/Pro or Amplifier through the PF40. That will eliminate your 12v trigger problem. I only use the 12v trigger between my Pre/Pro and amplifier. I run my gear almost straight into the wall but through a surge protector that won't power down the gear. I don't have enough outlets to run the gear straight to the wall.
