So I moved my MC700 into the bedroom and paired it with an old Emotiva amp I had. I replaced a SOny reciever. I can't believe how much freaking better it sounds. Mindblowing really.
Anyway... I have a Tivo Mini in there and I'm hoping someone has discovered a 4-digit code that lets the MINI remote control the MC700. It is not a learning remote. I could buy one of those, but I'm hoping someone has discovered a code that works. Cheers in advance to any help anyone can give.

No advice on topic, but very interesting for me to hear your impression on MC700. i want to move to a crossover setup for my B&O 6000s and first gen? Emotiva 10" sub in a bedroom setup because it sounds great until i turn it up and the 6000s get a full signal which they can't handle (signal comes from XDA-2 with RCA to 6000s and XLR converted to RCA for sub). I'm looking at used receivers with crossovers and pre outs, but my experience is telling me to not spend on older equipment with hdmi legacy issues. many of those come with no remote anyway . i have a main system with XMC-1 and Emotiva amps plus another using UMC-1 with DC-1 as primary pre amp. Reluctant to move UMC-1 because I'm using a DVI only Plasma there and can't be sure if it will sync. If i get MC700 I can use it with crossover in 2.1 and when DVI plasma dies I can swap UMC-1 to 2.1 setup and use a new tv set with MC700. Classic case of spending more now for longevity vs make a cheaper patch. I hope that makes sense, thank you for anyone with advice.
