I got a Raspberry Pi and installed Volumio on it. I was able to get everything going using my iPad. It found my NAS and my other computers as well. I have been able to play some stuff from the NAS. My iTunes is a mess so I haven't been able to see all of my music files. I need to go through iTunes and clean up a bunch of stuff. I've got a bunch of low res stuff I need to get rid of. I installed the Spotify and Youtube plugins for Volumio. They both work just fine. I've got a couple of questions about Volumio.
1. Can I send Youtube video to my TV from the Pi using the HDMI? 2. From my iPad using the Spotify app I can stream to the Volumio. I can also do the same in Tidal. If I do not have the device in the Spotify app as Volumio I do not have Volumio as an option to stream to in Tidal. Am I missing a setting somewhere? I can also access my Spotify account directly within Volumio and am not having any issue with that. 3. Is there a setting in Volumio that turns off the volume control from within Volumio? I would like to only use my preamp to adjust volume. 4. Volumio finds my Mac and my son's PC on the network. I have shared files on those machines but they don't show up in Volumio. How can I get those files to show up?
I was surprised how easy this was to get up and working. It works really well.

Volumio shows up as an output destination from my Mac in iTunes, so not being able to see the Mac share in the Volumio UI isn't that big of a deal.
Still not sure about the others if anyone has any input.
