...After research I am narrowed down to the following choices: 1. Airmotiv T2s 2. ELAC Uni-Fi F5s 3. DefTech BP9040s 4. Chane A5.4s (whenever available) 5. Kef Q350s on stands The DefTech's need a symmetrical room due to their back wave. If your room isn't symmetrical, right-to-left, throw these off your list. KEF A350s will eventually make you want a subwoofer. Getting one blended with the satellites isn't for the faint of heart. Cross these off your list too. Chane 5.4s aren't available yet. Don't know when they will be or how (if at all) they'll meet your needs. Drop these also. That leaves the Elac and the Airmotiv. Both are strong contenders, but only the Emotiva offers a 30-day in-house trial. The choice of T1 or T2 depends on whether you plan to add a sub. If you're doing so eventually anyway (for HT use), then the KEFs become contenders again as do the Emotiva T1s instead of the T2s. Your money, your choice - but I'd be inclined to "try it before you buy it" with any speaker. Happy Shopping! Boomzilla

Sorry, should have posted earlier...
I got T2s, E2s, and a C2 along with an XPA 3.2s over a month ago. Very happy with the setup. Still dialing in my room acoustics, but great speakers. thanks for all the inputs!
