Hello, today I realized my subs are not sounding. I use two subs in mono mode. Sub cable goes from Sub Output Left to sub input R on sub 1. From sub 1 output R cable goes to sub 2 input R.
I have turned everything off and on (xmc-1 and each sub).
When I try the test tones, there is no test tone audible to the subs. LCR and RS LS and BRS and BLS are test well.
The really funny and stupid part is it was ALL working fine, but I do not recall how far back.
What prompted me to realize the absence of sub output was a basketball game I was watching earlier today on ESPN. It all sounded so anemic!
Anyways, I am trying to pick everyone's brain for possible solution.
If the xmc-1 is not sending a test tone to the sub output, I am thinking service is needed?
Thank you all, and happy holidays!!
Hector

Have you tried a hard reset on the XMC-1 yet? Sometimes that is all that is needed to solve most issues.

Is hard reset the same as "Factory Reset"?

Well I performed a "Factory Reset" and nothing changed. Still the XMC-1 does not send a test tone to the subs... All other channels are working.
My subs do not have balanced inputs, so I cannot test the balanced out in the xmc-1...
I guess I will be calling the home office tomorrow or Monday.
Thanks

Just to be clear, you’ve flipped the switch on the back to off and then unplugged the XMC-1 for 5 minutes? And then plugged back in, flipped the switch and turned the XMC-1 on.
Is this correct?

Okay, It took me a couple of days (and holidays at that) to get help. I installed both of my subs, on at a time, in a friends rig, and I was able to rule out the problem. Turns out one of the subs is not working. I returned the functional sub to my rig and it works fine. Working on returning the bad sub to the manufacturer for service.
THE XMC-1 IS FINE.
Regards, and thank you those who chimed in with suggestions.
