So someone bought be a pair of Sony ssc5 speakers so I figure I put a small cheap little 2 channel setup together.
Emotive TA-100 Yamaha s301 or maybe 501 NAD 3020
If you have any experience with any of these please give me your input. Thanks

I'd get the NAD C316BEE instead of the 3020, or a Cambridge Audio Azur 351A.

I'd say NAD or Emotiva. Hard to go wrong either way.

Another (slightly more expensive) option would be the Yamaha A-S### series amps. No slouches there...

Sure the McIntosh is nice but for the price with efficient speakers (87 db plus) the Emotiva BasX TA100 CANNOT BE BEAT. Out grow it a few years latter just add a matching Emotiva amp and a TA 100.

I would go with the Marantz PM-8004. The is one of my favs. Sounds great holds up very well, And is versatile. It can be used as a stand alone pre amp or you can use it as a intergraded amp as well. Great unit. I will not part with mine.

You guys named a lot of other intergrated amps but I need to stay under 400$ for an amp

I own a Yamaha r-s300 receiver and it is very close to the Yamaha 301 or the 501 integrated amps. Great performer, for the money. The Yamaha integrated amps do not have a USB input for their DAC. Don't know if you in the future would want to add a computer to the set up, but if you do then the Emotiva TA-100 would be the way to go. I own the PT-100 preamp and love it. The TA-100 uses the same preamp as the PT-100 and the amp section of the TA-100 is very good. If you need no DAC then I would look at Accessories 4 less website and get a refurbished Marantz integrated. Good Luck ! Hope this helps. Matthew

My main thing would be Bluetooth?

I have a TA-100 and I'm very happy with it. I normally use it with a pair of Paul Carmody's Speedsters and the Emo S8 sub, crazy good system for the money.

I have a TA-100 and I can say I'm VERY happy with it. It really depends on your needs, but a couple of things about the TA-100 that I considered when I bought mine, and confirmed in the last 3 months using it:
-It has USB input, so you can hook a computer. (no drivers required, just plug and play) -It has a great phono pre input with both MM and MC (not a common feature) -It has a great headphone output, can drive "most" headphones, not the hardests but many with ease. -It has an FM tuner -The bluetooth adapter supports APTX. -The 50wpc are VERY real, (@0.01%THD)
For me is a NO brainer at the price, and I have no affiliations or any interest on emotiva, just a happy user.
