Airmotiv speaker line

My house specially the living room and the kitchen are all light soft pastel colors where black would be a sore sight. This is the main reason why all furniture has to be light wood colors. I've been to people's houses were the colors are all dark, so a black pair of speakers would blend OK.

Wrap the offending speakers in a fabric that complements the palette of the room. It can actually become a beautiful accent. Wont effect the sound either.

 i want to use the c2 centre

i want the very best to use as rears  either a set of emotiva t1s or would the e2 be the best as surrounds

and an additional rears e2 as well

i need a emotiva  amp that i can connect to the amp either denon or marantz

i want it so i can wire the front left  high frequencies  and the low frequencies

and for the same for the right speaker as well  and same for the centre as well  maybe xpa3 as example

i want 2 of the 15 inch version emotiva subs  i also want to additional subs that go even a lot lower in frequency  i want the wall shuddering bone crunching

all out for action movies the latest blockbuster and a very musical subs

i want to dirac full live full

i was told you can only do this with x mc1  is that correct or is there another emotiva amp that has this option

i also want to add emotiva monoblocks to the front centre rears and additional rears as well which would bring out the very best in these speakers as well

using wood solids and veneer would make the airmotiv's look quite classy but the added cost (which is substantial) would take the price way out of the range DAN has targeted with these speakers. he chose great sound as the 1st consideration at a particular price point. my guess would be that the xtra manufacturing and materials cost would more than double the retail price of the airmotiv's.

that is one of the reasons I got into speaker building.... my speakers and audio cabinet look like an extension of all of the other amish built furniture in our house.

makes the wife very happy.

thanks trey. I appreciate the kind words. it is a good thing that my two favorite hobbies (audio and woodworking) dovetail one another. it has also enabled me to bring speakers of significant size into the living room (high WAF) since there is no other location in our house that I could do audio/video.
no man cave in our 116 year old basement. but I do have my wood shop there.

I agree with trey they look gorgeous. The solid wood design has always been my preferred end product. How does the room response work out for you with your fronts stacked on the subwoofers? I’ve always thought about trying that in my setup.

because the back of the room opens out into the foyer and even into the piano room, standing waves or bass loading has never been a problem. I have the subs rolloff at an f3 at 50hz. the fronts are running full range with a natural rolloff of an f3 of 46hz... the blend is quite good on both music and movies.

although their is some serious bass loading problems in the 2nd floor bedroom closet.

I want to have white «T2», but better black not expensive speakers, than any other colors expensive.
But i think how to do it from black to white.

Uniquely, there is no such color, exellent for all people.

Yesterday I received a trio of T1's to test in my home theater. My top reason for buying these was the incredible reviews I've been reading, but an additional important factor that helped my purchase decision is that I truly love the look and finish. I have been living with shiny, reflective, gaudy Emp Tek (RBH) towers and have wished they were a non-reflective matte black, so the Emotiva finish is exactly what I needed. But beyond the finish color I also totally dig the angular look - I find them ruggedly handsome in a scifi kinda way. Also, I think you will find a lot of interior designers who sometimes choose a black finished piece because black can be nearly transparent visually in the right arrangement.
