Emotiva replied to my query and said that the rack ears are having to be modified to fit the different hole spacing of the BasX components. The design changes are approved, and the new rack ears are expected within "60 to 90 days." I can wait that long. That my friend is a new BS line IMHO! Everyone here knows that Im pretty much an Emo guy BUT this line was fed to me 6 months ago about getting rack ears for my specific gear. No news to date. I was further told that my name and needs were put on a contact list when they came in. Still no word. So Im calling it! Blasphemous!!!! But it's nice to see a blue cool aide addict see some reality for a change.

For what it's worth to the staff at Emotiva, the ability for me to rackmount your equipment is what drew me to purchase your hardware in the first place...
I don't really remember when I bought my first Emotiva piece - but at the time - the only two manufacturers of rack mounted home theater kit in my price range were Emotiva and Adcom. I remember being pretty excited to have 'finally' found exactly what I was looking for.
Perhaps times have changed, but I sure hope they don't move away from offering ears....
