Does a converter for spdif (optical or coaxial) to HDMI exist? The only thing that I've come across is HDMI to spdif/DVI or spdif/component video.

As you know S/PDIF is not a video format, so it would surprise me if such a thing existed. Why would you need it?

Do you need S/PDIF to HDMI or HDMI to S/PDIF? There a lot of the latter (HDMI to S/PDIF) out there. Because of an input conundrum I needed one with HDMI in and both HDMI & S/PDIF out.
Like DYohn said "Why would you need it?" as all you would pass would be the audio signal. With the converters you mention, both audio and video are converted.
