Oppo BDP-203 problems

I'm getting black screen, snow, and then the picture returns. All random times more problems with older movies.
Firmware all updated. Tried 20 or more movies and formats DVD, Blu Ray and 4K Blu Ray.

Tried connecting direct to TV and swapped HDMI cables. Swapped out player and Movies played great.

Any Suggestions would be great. Thanks

I would try a full factory reset, Bill pariseau over at AVS in the Oppo BDP203 thread recommends doing this everytime you do an update just save all your setting beforehand. Failing that check over at AVS, i know some people dont like it over there but they have really cleaned up their act with good mods.

If it’s a 4K tv, make sure you have HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color turned on in the settings menu. Plus, make sure you have the HDMI cable plugged into the right ports. For the 203, go into Video Output Setup and make sure nothing is off there. You should leave your Output and Custom Resolution settings on Auto.
