I am thinking about purchasing a new XPA-3 to drive 3 HTM12's in my home theater. I like the fact they are upgradable, will these also be upgradable to the 11 and 13 channel configurations? I have a new Denon 4300 driving everything now and will continue to use it for my surrounds, and Atmos which are 3 pairs of JBL Control 226's. I

I If you get the 3 channel version it means you have 4 open slots. So you could add up to 4 stereo modules for a total of 11 channels. To go to 13 you would have to take out 2 of the 3 mono modules and replace them with stereo modules. But I don't know if 13 channels is an option. 12 is the most they show on the product page.

Add to this the cost of shipping it back to Emotiva, plus the time you would be without it.

Add to this the cost of shipping it back to Emotiva, plus the time you would be without it. If bought at a dealer, they can order blades ahead of time and then install on site. At least that's what mine led me to believe.

Add to this the cost of shipping it back to Emotiva, plus the time you would be without it. For the former, I believe Emo offered a flat cost (meaning they subsidized it) of like $50. It was VERY reasonable. However if you bought it from a dealer, I'd think they'd do it for free if you bought the blades through them.
