I think the CES stuff just collapsed? It's like it never happened; for all the "teasing" about stuff coming, all we really got is crickets  |

Tradionally Audioholics and Home Theater usually do videos about Emotiva Audio at the various shows. Don't know if they were there this year however.

Hopefully the XMC-2 is released close to the RMC since they said they'll sell 5 of them for every 1 RMC.
For the OP, it looks like they muzzled the marketing for whatever reason(s). I don't believe for a second Hair Nick forgot to provide the updates he promised, as I believe he had the best of intentions.

My comment was just about the reality of “he’s probably just busy”, and there’s nothing nefarious. Nick is a pretty cool guy so I don’t want to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Emotiva is still a fairly small business from a staffing perspective. I’m ready for some new information though. Maybe some more RMC-1 stuff?! |

Having been at a similar event as support for a presenter, I can relate to what Jim says. As a presenter, it does get overwhelming. Not an apology for Emotiva - just stating a reality of being on "that side" of a big show. Mine was at the Rosemont in Chicago. It started slow, then not a minute to spare....for days.

Mark I haven’t spent that much time on that side either (I’ve helped run a couple shows in various ways) - but I do know that the decision for some people is at what point do they stop working to get a little sleep! |

I don't mean to imply anything nefarious, which is why I said I believe he had the best of intentions. If he was directed by the uppers to mums further details, there is nothing wrong/nefarious with that and that is perfectly ok. i.e. maybe things are still in flux on some of the details, so they don't want to get slammed later for saying X and it ending up being Y. |
