I think that the Bas-X sat deserving better attention and reviews. I received this little speakers 3 weeks ago to improve my garage man cave experiences working 2.1 mode together with a Bas-X sub8 drive-by a TA-100 receiver (tuner-amp like Dan Laufman said ). As I'm familiar listening my main system of XMC-1 XPA-1s , I really don't expecting to much of this little receiver and speakers but only an honest and clean sound. I read in some reviews that the midrange of this satellites was tiny, I completely disagreed, what I obtained from this very affordable and modest satellites and not only the Sat but the complete kit is largely over all my expectations, exceptionally powerful, responsive and dynamic for there size, very smooth and detailed on all the frequency range, I'm very surprised, no astonished. I couldn't be more happier, I nearly have the same sonic class in my man cave as in my main living room system for a fraction of the cost. This little satellites really deserve better attention. Long live Emotiva.

I was certainly impressed at Emofest. The whole BasX room fitted with all BasX gear was certainly no slouch at all. I didn't feel anything was missing. Could it be even better? Well, the Atmos demo said "yes", but the cost of that was a huge factor above the whole BasX room.

Thanks for posting the review, something I'm terrible about doing. It's a great feeling to have excellent sound in a place where you work or do projects. Scott
