Hi all,
So I am curious to those who have received their Gen 3 amps from Emo.
I have had one on order since 1/11 and the ship date has slipped three time. Because it takes sales to a few days to get back to me I was wondering if anyone has been experiencing the same thing. I am beginning to think either A the amp never really existed (yet) and they were effectively just gathering "pre=orders" to justify a build run (because they are not financially sound) or they have technical problems with production.
I am real close to cancelling my order.
THoughts?

Relax, Emo will take care of you, product page says "shipping Feb 7-12". Waiting on an order is frustrating, but when you get your new amp, I bet you will be a very happy camper.

Uh dont tell me to relax. Never said i was upset , just stating the facts as they are. It would be prudent that they state that in the email exchange .

I just got an email from Emotiva stating my XPA-DR2 order is complete. I ordered on the 12th of January. No shipping notice yet, but that should arrive soon.

My reply was for dman2112, not you socketman, we both posted replies at the same time,LOL. In my experience, Emotiva is a stand up company making excellent products. I waited forever it seemed (2 + months), after being probably the last order of the XMC-1 before Emo raised the price on them a couple of years ago, so I do understand the frustration.

Last reply was it would ship by Friday ( tomorrow) we shall see. We are so sorry for some of the delay experiences we've had recently. There were two winter storms that delayed our production and some of the logistics. We try to meet our timetables, and we are so sorry that our notifications slipped through. Starting today, we have a new notification system for new orders moving forward. There are a lot of moving parts, (literally!), as our XPA Gen 3 amps are in hot demand, and they are made here in Franklin, TN. One of the coolest aspects of the amplifier series is that even though we have to factor in build times, and the wait time may vary, we have more freedom when it comes to our inventory. Instead of having too many of one XPA model, and being sold out of another, we have one general inventory of XPA Gen 3 amp parts, and we build and configure based on orders and demands, so we're never out of one particular Gen 3 model.

Than for the reply Jessica, as i said before i was not mad or upset . For me the amp is only one piece of the whole puzzle of ATMOS. What i did not notice on the website was the shipping dates, i just didnt see it until it was pointed out to me, my eyesight isnt what it used to be. I totally get logistics and even one part coming late can hold up the whole process. Its all good.

We want to improve the experience so that it's first-class so that everything from the purchasing experience to the product itself if seamless and customer-focused. We've made changes to our product pages as of today as well. We did not like how the ship date was communicated on the page before.

My brokerage does a lot of shipping and this year has been a nightmare due to storms. Seems almost every week I'm on the phone with receiving departments apologizing for weather delays. It's exponential as well when we can't ship product because our client hasn't received their raw materials due to... you guessed it; bad weather. Scott

The internet makes things seem so much more dire. I try not to let my bad day influence what i say on other forums and give companies an undeserving bad rep. I think many of us have become too entitled and when we click on something we expect it to appear immediately out of thin air almost. It may sound stupid but these really are first world problems. I personally have no idea of the daily goings on at a company like Emotiva , and i have to remember they are not just sitting around waiting for my call LOL/
