Looking forward to hearing from the first group of self installers. With a bit of luck, my existing flat screen will hold out until then.

Anyone here have a pic of the back of the Gen 3 XMC1. I am making my XLR cables need to see the layout. Let me know whats your total cost to make the cables. I was thinking the same thing. I bought everything at AVShop.ca was like $130 for neutric ends and 30ft of canare cable. I will be making 6 cables all together.

Quick update here. The V3 code is done, vetted, approved for release. Production is updating the XMC's that are in house as well as preparing the self install kits for shipping on Monday or Tuesday of next week. Have a great weekend everyone. Lonnie I wonder how many XMC-1's there are visiting home base in downtown Franklin? And how long does it take to turn around each unit? And how many production people are there? If they can turn mine around in a week, then 4/5 days to get here, it might make it before 1st July and avoid the tax hike. Fingers crossed Cheers Gary

So, for the self-install is the price for the V3 board $399? I'm not sure where the price finally landed.

How do we place an order? I didn’t see anything on the Emotiva website. I was told they would reach out to me. I will probably call on Monday instead of waiting.

Lonnie Awesome, thank you, here's hoping shipping goes smoothly (sure I am near the back of the line since I just got around to actually paying)! Re. ordering -- you have to send an email or call Emotiva. I did, and they sent me an invoice, which I then paid. They charged my card right away, not after it ships, so make sure you are prepared to pay. $399 + $25 shipping so $424 USD to me in CO.

Excellent news, been looking forward to this update and making the Home Theater a bit more friendly in regards to using 4K and HDR. Mailed sales for a quote to Australia for self install. Cheers Z
