I’ve decide to move away from using 4 amps to run my 5.1 set up. I purchased an A-5175. Main goal is about less wires and a more streamlined setup. Thank you Emotiva, you made this a no brainer by using your trade in program.

a Fusion 8100 I wasn’t using anymore. $250 credit. Not bad for a product that was out of warranty.

Doesn't appear to be on their website. At least not the new one.

I emailed them and asked if the program was still around, they asked me what I wanted to trade in...I told them, they made an offer, I said ok. When I talked to them on the phone today, they said they had a limited list of things they would take in as trade. I didn't like the price points of the UPA-1s or Upa-2, so I will sell them myself.

Man, I don't know. You want to replace your UPA 1's and 2's for the A-5175?

Yeah, I have about 14 total things plugged in over there. That will take away 3 and give me more shelf space. Not claiming I’m upgrading. 90/10 TV/HT ratio. I think the 125 wpc will be enough. I may sell a few pieces to offset the price my new amp that has warranty.

Thank you Emotiva, you made this a no brainer by using your trade in program. I have done almost the same thing, selling my XPA-5, replacing it with the A-5175 for a space issue. The A-5175 arrived Friday, and I need a few days to reconfig my box (a little carpentry surgery is required) to fit the new amp and my XMC-1 into wife's cabinetry. I look forward to getting this install completed. It may take until weekend after next. I expect no obvious decline in sound quality and a huge increase in convenience. Please post your observations once the deed is done, and I will do the same.

Yeah, I get my Monoblock setup is pretty good, but my room is small, barely ever used to ear splitting levels. The power should be enough. Probably keep two of the mono blocks, sell the third and the 2 channel amp.
