There is nothing wrong with running bare wires into your speaker binding posts, some people actually prefer doing this.
I use GLS locking bananas at everything except my surround speakers, my surround speakers I just use bare wire simply because there's not much room since my surround speakers mount flush to the wall. Since they cannot be seen and will not be changed at any frequency I have no problem at all just using bare wires into my surrounds.
